Manchester Airport

The North West's International Hub

Manchester Airport is the third-busiest in the UK — three terminals, 200+ destinations, 28 million passengers annually. Direct flights from New York (United, Virgin Atlantic), Dubai (Emirates), Singapore (Singapore Airlines), Doha (Qatar Airways), Istanbul (Turkish Airlines) and every major European city. It's the North West's gateway to the world.

Three terminals. One problem. Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 have separate arrivals halls, separate access roads, and separate drop-off zones. Your flight might move terminals at short notice. Your driver monitors the terminal assignment in real-time — if you were booked on T1 and get moved to T2, they're already repositioning before you land.

The M56 corridor problem: Manchester Airport sits at the end of the M56 motorway. At peak times (17:00–19:00), the M56 eastbound backs up from Junction 5 to the terminal. The journey that takes 15 minutes at midnight takes 50 minutes at 17:30. Your driver knows the Styal Road back route, the Ringway approach, and the Terminal 2 staff access — routes that don't appear on Google Maps.

Why not the train? The airport train station connects to Manchester Piccadilly (20 min) and Liverpool Lime Street (90 min). But with luggage, children, jet lag, and a platform change at Oxford Road, the train is the theory. The Mercedes is the reality.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

Which terminal will you meet me at?
Whichever your flight arrives at — T1, T2 or T3. Your driver monitors the terminal assignment. If it changes last-minute (common at Manchester), they reposition automatically. Name board at your terminal's arrivals exit.
How long from Manchester Airport to Liverpool?
Approximately 50 minutes via M56 and Mersey Tunnels in normal traffic. At peak (17:00–19:00), allow 70 minutes — your driver uses the Styal Road and Altrincham back routes to avoid the M56 congestion.
I'm arriving from the US — how long will you wait?
60 minutes free waiting for long-haul international flights. This starts from wheels-down, covering taxi to gate, immigration (which can take 30+ minutes at Manchester T2 during peak), luggage collection, and the walk to arrivals. If you need longer, your driver waits — no extra charge for reasonable delays.
Can you take me from Manchester Airport to a match?
Yes. Old Trafford 20 minutes. Etihad 25 minutes. Anfield 50 minutes. Airport to hotel first, or directly to the stadium with luggage locked in the Mercedes boot. Post-match: driver positioned before full time.
Do you cover the M6 toll?
All tolls included in the fixed price. M6, Mersey Tunnels, Thelwall Viaduct — no extras. The quote is the total.
Family of 6 with holiday luggage?
V-Class seats 7 with 6 large suitcases. Perfect for family holidays. Child seats fitted free of charge — mention ages at booking. One fixed price for the whole family.
