Female Chauffeur Service: Why More Clients Are Requesting Women Drivers

Fully LCC licensed, Enhanced DBS cleared female chauffeur available on request. Why the option matters — and why more clients are choosing it.

When we added a female chauffeur to the T&M fleet, we didn't make a big announcement. We simply added "Female driver preferred" as an option in our booking form. The response told us everything.

Within weeks, the option was being selected on bookings we hadn't expected — not just by women travelling alone, but by corporate PAs booking for female executives, families with teenage daughters, wedding planners for bridal parties, and elderly passengers who simply felt more comfortable.

Who Requests a Female Chauffeur?

Women travelling solo. A late-night arena collection at 23:00. An early-morning airport transfer at 04:30. A business trip to an unfamiliar city. For women travelling alone, the option of a female driver isn't a luxury — it's a comfort that changes the experience entirely. No awkwardness, no second thoughts, just a professional driver who happens to be a woman.

Corporate bookings for female executives. PAs and office managers booking travel for senior women in their company increasingly request female drivers as standard. It's not policy — it's consideration. The kind of detail that separates a thoughtful PA from a great one.

Bridal parties. The morning of the wedding: bride, bridesmaids, mother of the bride in a Mercedes V-Class. A female chauffeur fits the energy of the morning — calm, organised, understanding that the dress needs hanging not folding, that the schedule is tight but the mood needs to stay relaxed.

Families with children. Parents travelling with young daughters sometimes prefer a female driver. It's not about safety — every T&M driver is Enhanced DBS cleared regardless. It's about comfort and the feeling of the journey.

Elderly passengers. Older clients, particularly women, occasionally feel more at ease with a female driver. Hospital appointments, family visits, airport transfers — the journey feels different when the person at the wheel reflects something familiar.

The Same Standard. The Same Mercedes.

Our female chauffeur, Alina, holds exactly the same credentials as every T&M driver. Fully LCC licensed under Liverpool City Council. Enhanced DBS cleared. Trained to the same standard. Driving the same Mercedes fleet — V-Class, Vito, E-Class. The vehicle specification doesn't change. The service standard doesn't change. The fixed pricing doesn't change.

What changes is the option. And sometimes, the option is everything.

How to Request

Every booking form on our website now includes a "Driver Preference" dropdown with "Female driver preferred" as an option. Select it, and we assign Alina to your booking. It's that simple. No extra charge, no separate booking process, no discussion needed.

If you're booking via WhatsApp, just mention it in your message. "Female driver please" is all it takes.

Why It Matters

The chauffeur industry has historically been male-dominated. Most operators in the North West don't offer a female driver option because they don't have one. We do. Not as a marketing exercise — as a genuine operational capability that serves clients better.

The clients who request it know exactly why they want it. Our job is simply to make it available.
